Summing up the 2025 Toyota bZ4X EV

The Toyota bZ4X entered the Australian EV market with competitive pricing against the Tesla Model Y but falls short on range, carrying capacity, towing and charging capabilities compared to its key rival. Toyota appear to have launched the bZ4X as a necessity to have a 100% electric vehicle in the market rather than a serious, capable contender for EV buyers dollars. As such this appears to be a cautious first step into the electric vehicle market for Toyota rather than a revolutionary leap forward by the Japanese brand.
