The Leapmotor C10 electric family sized SUV to hit Australian roads in 2025

Originally founded in 2015 as an electric only start-up in China, Leapmotor now has global expansion ambitions via a JV with the global automotive giant Stellantis. The new company, Leapmotor International, is a 51 percent /49 percent Stellantis led company between Stellantis and Leapmotor. The C10 is the first Leapmotor EV to arrive in Australia. Specifications are below.

Price

The standard/base (Style) model Leapmotor C10 is approx. $47,500 drive away as at January 2025 with the premium spec (Design) model selling in Australia for approx. $51,500 driveaway depending on your State.

Warranty

Leapmotor International are providing a seven year or 160,000 km (whichever comes first) vehicle/chassis warranty and eight year, 160,000 km high voltage/ traction battery warranty

Towing capacity

In overseas markets the Leapmotor C10 has a braked towing capacity of 75 kg and a braked maximum capacity of 1,500 kg, sufficient to tow loaded trailers, and medium sized boats and caravans. Australian C10 models are expected to have the same towing capacity once tested.
